Question : Foreclosure?
How long does it take for a person to be evicted from a home that has gone into foreclosure? And are there any precautions one must take if this is the ONLY option?

All Answers: Answer #1 It may depend upon which state the property islocated in. Speak with a real estate agent whoknows the legal aspects of the industry well. Seems like it is 30 days in our state; however, that is based upon information from over 10 yearsago. You may also contact an attorney whospecializes or practices law in the area of RealEstate. They should be able to address thespecifics of your state; also, if you are a tenantat sufferance, they may be able to assist you froma legal perspective.Try the link below for furtherinformation: - answered by sheila_0123
Answer #2 It depends on your state's laws. And I wouldsuggest talking to a bankruptcy lawyer. It's been awhile since I practiced law (went into nursing),and I know the bankruptcy laws have changed, butstill worth a shot. - answered by warriorwoman
