Question : How much do you have to earn to get a credit limit above 40000 if you have excellent credit?
What is the formula for calculating how high your credit limit should be? And by 40000 I'm referring to all credit cards, not just one. Although it would be interesting to know how much you have to earn to get one credit card with a 40K limit.

I have a Amex Black with no limit. My freindbought a home for 600k with his. He does it allthe time. Of course he doesn't carry the balanceslong, either do I. 40k limit should be no problemif you have a really good income...Here s a goodarticle about credit cards:
