Answer #2 What he said. ^^^You're stuck with that one!Thereare "Credit Repair" companies out there that willcharge an exorbitant amount of money to "fix" yourcredit, including removing your foreclosure. Thisis a scam - don't fall for it! - answered by Mr. Knowitall
Answer #3 The only things you can remove from your creditreport are things that are incorrect. If theydidn't happen, then contact the financial companythat put them there and get it taken care of.Thebad marks that are correct and get posted willcome back to haunt you for around 7 years. - answered by cg
Answer #4 It stays on for 7 years. You can't remove it unlessit is incorrect. Then you can file a dispute. Any credit repair place that tells you they can"fix" it is lying and will charge you money tobasically do nothing. You're stuck with it for awhile. You can, however, start doing things toimprove your credit score.Pay all bills ON TIME. Late payments kill you.If you still have a creditcard, use it fairly regularly but pay the entireamount off when the bill comes. Those regularpayments will help you but you have to pay it ontime.Reduce any other debt you have. If you stillowe credit cards, pay more than the minimummonthly payment. If your cards are maxed out,it's hurting your score. Get them paid down tobelow 30% of your credit limit and don't run themup again. After a period of time of regularpayments and getting your debt reduced, your scorewill start going back up. The foreclosure isgoing to stay there for a while though. - answered by Faye H
