Question : can i get a cash loan if i don't have a job but I do recieve a monthly stipend from a private party?
I am in college and I don't have a full time job but I need a loan and I don't know if I can get one without a job. I do receive a large sum of money each month from a private party.

You can claim that amount you get as "income" or a"gift" - gift up to $12,000 (currently/ year). Ifyou declare it as income you have to pay taxes onit. Not so as a gift up to the exclusion amount.Onthe loan doc, you cite, "other income." And themonthly amount, and possibly how long have youbeen receiving this amount and from whom. You mayneed to show the lender deposits over the last 6months or what they require to get the loan. It ispossible.

Just get a student credit card. They barely evercheck income, so you'll probably get one easily.
