Question : Do federal education loan lenders check credit score when issuing a loan?
Where do you apply for a federal (not private loan?)Can you apply for a loan after you took out one loan for 2,000 several years ago that was taken out in your name by fraud? What then do you do, if you need more loan, like a 40,000 loan to cover your expenses? How do you handle this and get more loan to cover educational expenses?

All Answers: Answer #1 Credit has a large portion to do with getting aloan, this also reflects the ratio or availablecredit to credit used. To keep your ratiofavorable, keep a credit card with a low or noballance. If someone took out a loan in your name, you would need to dispute it with the issuinglendor and make sure it does not appear on yourcredit report with all three agencies. - answered by hundred_bullets
