All Answers: Answer #1 I think you can;t realy tell. Here's the thing, regardless of your working status, you have tofile under you parents if you're not 24 yet. Soyou'd need both of your w-2s. After 24 yourconsidered independent and only your informationwill counts. If you're having trouble filling itout, your school should be able to help you. Thayalways have a department for that.Don't lie onyour application, you can get in trouble. Justfile it and give it a try. on the meantime, getsome voluntary work and start applying forscholarships. Not only there's no limit to that,it'll look really good when you graduate.Goodluck! - answered by daniela a
Answer #2 you should really check in with a local notary orwith the person who helped your mom file hertaxes. i made about 1000 dollars working seasonal.my dad asked the notary if i had to report thatmoney and he said no because it was a brief periodof work and its not that much anyway. i wouldcheck with a notary but i dont think you need toreport that money and if you did, the EFC will notchange because that is the money your familycontributes. the money YOU make is assumed to befor your own personal spending - answered by BonEThuG
