Answer #2 It really depends on your credit. It could be aslow as 200-300. This would be if your creditscore is less than 620. If you have a creditscore of 750 or higher and you have a greatincome, it could be 100k..I have pretty goodcredit score of 700 and have a limit of 10k. - answered by blair1813

Answer #5 Depending on what your credit score is and howresponsible they can see you have been withcredit, like your highest balance, if you've evergone over the limit, etc.... They give you yourlimit based on that information. So it could rangeanywhere between $500-No limit. - answered by Renee W
Answer #6 The first MasterCard I got in 1973 had a $300limit and my dad had to co-sign. Now 35 yearslater it has a $20,000 limit (and my dad haspassed on).At another bank I somehow ended up with2 cards, and when I cancelled one, they added thatlimit to the other card, so it now has a limit of$40,300.But nobody here is going to have a cluewhat your initial credit limit would be, becausewe don't know if you are a college student with atemporary part time job and $80,000 in studentloans, or if you have too much income tocontribute to a Roth IRA. For all we know youcould be one of the numerous people who asks"Where can I get a loan with bad credit?".You arenot going to know your limit until you apply forthe card and see what they send you. - answered by efflandt
Answer #7 Then just go get a American Express! Most cardsdon't have limits. However, I'm sure MasterCardcan give you what ever you need. If you qualify. - answered by mycredit wealth, com
Answer #8 MasterCard limits can be as much as $100,000 for acommercial account. In most cases, maximumpersonal limits are about $10,000 and can beadjusted upwards under various circumstances.Thecredit line is determined by credit worthiness anda number of other factors. The reason MasterCardwon't give you answer when you ask is because itis not possible to determine a credit limit byspeaking to someone on the phone. Whomever youspoke to did not wish to be heard as committing aparticular limit to you by announcing maximumlimits. - answered by patticharron
