Question : Can I apply for FAFSA as a sophomore in college next year?
I didn't apply for FAFSA aid this year (figured I wouldn't get anything since my parents make about $110k a year), and I kind of regret doing so. My parents also felt uncomfortable about filling out all of the personal information. I was planning to file a FAFSA next year just incase, though, and I was wondering if you can file for a FAFSA as a college sophomore? Is the FAFSA a "by the year" thing or is it for four years?

Answer #2 Well if your parents make $110k a year, I reallydoubt that you will get any aid but you can stilltry. Assuming you have a scholarship, it's onlylike a dime a dollar to your parents. Unless youhave a low gpa or your parents are greedy I don'tknow. - answered by Ski Ski
Answer #3 Yes you apply by the year. When you and yourparents do their taxes for 2008 you need to doyour fafsa as well. (Feb/March of 2009). Thiswill be effective for the 2009-2010 schoolyear. You will likely be offered UnsubsidizedStafford Loans. - answered by Found-1
