Question : Can you get a home loan with less than 2 years of employment history?
My husband and I are trying to apply for a home loan. I've been with my current employer for 3 years and he has been with his current employer for 1 year. His work history had been very unstable up until last year. We just want to know if this will be a problem when applying for a home loan.

it will be a problem but your credit rating andtaxed income will be more important. Typically, alender asks how many years is a person in theirfield. Right now if you are a first time homebuyer it is the best time to buy in most of thecountry. The fact that you have been at the sameemployer for 3 years will help as well. I thinkyou will be fine and get a good loan as long asyour credit is good.
