Question : What do I need to do next after I completed my FAFSA online?
I have completed my FAFSA online a week ago. Then I got a email saying that my application has been processed and the data was made available to the school listed on my FAFSA. All I got left to do is print my Student Aid Report. Do I need to go to the Financial Aid office at the school for confirmation or does the school already has my financial aid?

YEs, you should probably go the Financial AidOffice at your school and check if they receivedit or not. Fill out a scholarship application andsend it in and you will get the letter confirmingif you're receiving help or not....Hope it helps..!

Within the next two weeks, you school should getyour fafsa information, depending on how often theschool downloads the information. You can justsend your Finaid office an email making sure thatthey did get your information and such. Your nextstep varies. Do you want to get student loans? Ifso, step one is to get your student pin numberthat you used when filling out the FAFSA, next youwant to fill out your promissory note. This isdone at dlenote.ed.gov. This will ensure that youspeed the process up. Step two is to do the LoanEntrance Counseling. This is done at www.dl.ed.govand pretty much all you do is read information andtake a quiz to make sure you understand everythingabout having a loan. Pretty simple. You do notneed to send you school a copy of your SAR becausethey will retrieve the info on their own as longas you put down their school code. If you havealready taken out loans, then you are not requiredto do another loan counseling or promissory notebecause they are only required the first time youtake out student direct loans. And you do not needto fill it out if you want to reject the loans!Good luck.
