PLEASE BEWARE OF LOANS ASKING FOR PAYMENTS UPFRONT!I recieved a call from Matthew Price statingthat he has approved me for a loan for $5000,which I did request through Lending Tree. He thengave me the loan details that the loan was for 36months paying back at 151.94 a month. And ofcourse, this is where it got fishy. He then toldme that this is a secure loan, but instead of theusual collateral like a car or house, he wouldsimply take the first 6 months of payments($911.64)as collateral, and that once I sent this"flat payment" in, that I would recieve my loan infull within 24 hours. I told him to go ahead andfax me the papers and i would review them. It wasthen that I decided to look up their name on theweb. He told me that he represented AvenueFinancial Group. I looked everywhere on the weband could not find anything on them. I then did asearch on "collateral loans" and found out thatthis type of loan is a scam. The BBB states thatno loan company can ask or recieve money untiltheir service (giving you the loan) is rendered. Ijust wanted to get the name out of this scamcompany since i was unable to find them on theinternet.Avenue Financial GroupMatt PriceTel:1-866-403-6662xt. 274Fax: 516-977-1030595 StewartAve. Garden City, NY11530Everyone on here shouldfax them some fun pictures! If you're in debt, cut back your spending and geta second job! Bankruptcy is nothing more thanlegalized theft... That being said, Sam is dead onabout not paying fees for a loan... You've alreadyhad a scammer offering you "Advance Fee LoanFraud"... don't compound your problems by fallingfor that... Here are some tips for determiningwhether a loan is legitimate or a scam:1) Theydon't use a free email address (yahoo, gmail, hotmail, live, etc) 2) They have a secure websiteyou can go to to fill out their application (thisisn't 100%... do a search with the company + fraudand also + scam... and check the BBB) The typicalscammer excuse for this is under construction ormaintenance...3) They don't require ANY feesupfront. Any fees will come out of proceeds of theloan (scammers want their fees via Western Unionor Moneygram)4) They have a REAL address you cansend mail to5) They have a REAL phone number, nota cel phone 6) Look at their profile - usuallycreated in the last 48 hours. Why? Because theyget reported for this, yahoo deletes the accounts,so they just open a new one and send again untilthey are deleted once more!7) If you're STILL notconvinced, despite one or more of the aboveapplying, check them out for yourself. I can sendlinks if anyone is interested.
