Question : What reasons can you use a personal loan for?
I am looking to get a personal loan. Can anyone tell me what activities they won't offer loans for? I'm just curious. I want it for home improvement, but it just got me thinking about it.ALSO can anyone recommend a low cost loan from anywhere?

If you pay the money back, then you can use it foranything, but if you spend It daft, then you haveto pay the money back and so do not spend itdaft....

good luck. with the economy down the banks arn'tgiving out alot of loans, espec. in thestates.it's not what its used for thats important,but having colateral and a good record to pay themback.

You can personal loans for home improvements andholidays etcBut at the moment not many people arelending and those who are have a high APRBecareful if apply online because your details go toeveryone

You can use it for basically anything. However,because a personal loan is unsecured, your rateswill be higher than a home equity/secured loan. According to msnbc.com, the average personal loanis just under 12%, and ranges from just under 7%to 21%. Check the rates outhere:

Home improvements are fine ie kitchen , bathroomor extensions , car loans are harder to get fromthe bank .I have always found Royal bank ofScotland to have some really good deals .Also manykitchen and bathroom outlets have their ownfinance deals , just shop around .Lots ofcompanies are offering good deals to actually getyou to spend your money , you only have to look atDFS and Dreams they are giving interest free withno payment for 2 years .
