Question : What's the average credit limit for citi college credit card?
What's the average credit limit for citi college credit card?I'm thinking to apply for a citi college credit card. I have no credit limit, so that would be my first credit card. By the way, Wells Fargo seems very enthusiastic to offer a college credit card to me, but I heard that Wells Fargo offers very low limit while citi is generous.No recommendations please.I also heard that citi sometimes offers about $2000 limit to students who apply for the first time. Is it true?

The limit is usually between $500 to $1,000 on thefirst credit card a person gets.Note: That anytime you use more than 30% of your availablecredit limit your rating starts reducing.Ex: Ifyour limit is $1,000, never use more than $300 atany time during the month.New Federal Laws passedin 2010 will make it nearly impossible to get acard unless you are 21 or older.You must havestable employment, a credit history, and strongability to pay back.Be aware of this, and considera secured card to build up yourcredit.--------------If you have a full time jobfor at least a year, you may get the $2,000 limit.
