Reviews: Ive been with BofA for years. My free checking account was set up to be free as long as I opened a savings account with $25.00 taken out of my checking account monthly and transfered to the savings account. No minimum balance required with either account...just $25 available to go to savings monthly and then I could just transfer it back to checking. NOW THEY WANT ME TO PAY $5.95 per month for checking if I dont have direct deposits made monthly (I work for myself) OR keep a daily minimum of $1000 in the account. I REFUSE TO PAY THE BANK TO KEEP MY MONEY IN THEIR BANK WHICH THEY DRAW INTEREST FROM. Im going to Wells Fargo tomorrow because they will give me free checking and the same kind of account I originally set up with BofA. Sianora!

Reviews: I dont know if their branches are excellent or not. Yet I am sick of their VISA card policies. Never apply their credit card nor do balance transfers with their offer. They will make money out of you with their hidden balance transfer charges and special payment posting policy. I got hit by them so badly. Ended up after using their credit card for a month and in order to stop them making more money out of me I have to stop using their card. I have excellent credit and paid them off every single statement. However I learned a painful lesson from doing balance transfer business with them. Dont let their small benefit blind you! They will get you back big time. Not worth to have any accounts with them. I am boycotting them. Check out all the online complaint websites to read how bad a company WAMU is.
