Reviews: I have cds (certicates of deposit) in 5 banks. 4 of the banks all operate the same way when your cd matures and you let it automatically renew it renews at a single competitive rate which is usually similar or better than other banks. TCF does it differently when your cd matures if you dont renew it at ther special rate it will drop down to their starting rate which is much lower than the special rate and the rates of the other 4 banks I use. I didnt catch on to this practice for a few years as I let my cds roll over. I have lost a lot of interest not being aware of TCFs deceptive practice. My fault for not catching on and theirs for being tricky. Be aware.I like their checking service.

Reviews: I had some over draff fees that I had wanted refunded and they would not do it. Online banking never worked right the customer serice center always sounded rude and acted like they did not to help you. I closed my account and went somewere that acutally cares about there customers.

Reviews: Wont dispute a charge on the Check Card without cancelling the entire cards and sending a new one. This is not a case of lost or stolen card or unauthorized use. The company charged me the wrong amount said they would fix it and did not. They should disupute this one transaction.

Reviews: I also had a very bad time with us bank my purse was stolen last nov and they promised 0 fraud liability since i called right as it was stolen now in march not only are they charging the amount the peerson was able to charge but also over 550 in over draft and negtive account balance fees i am also concidering legal action and have talk with a lawyer who is postive and thinks we can get justice
