Reviews: I am very disappointed in this bank. Opened an account recently and wasnt told that if you overdraw on your account that you get charged additionally daily for your overdue balance which makes it impossible for me to ever get caught up and I cant close it unless I pay it off. So it is getting larger overdrawn and I am stuck in the middle. This you should be told verbally upfront and I wasnt. I am screwed. RESEARCH is the word. ASK questions.

Reviews: The bank personnel are tremendously lacking in knowledge and information about the Banks products and services. They will not give or just do not know the right information to properly protect your assets with the FDIC. Reviews: I came in this banking center because I had a few questions regarding my account and I was helped by the banking center manager her name was Nancy Vilegas she was very helpful and a very sweet young lady. she answered all my questions and overall made me feel like I was the most important person there.

Reviews: We had went to this bank for years. We have a business account with them. We have deposited large checks that only had the normal one day hold. Pam the branch manager was very helpful when we lived in the neighborhood. I remember one time when I was unable to make it to the bank and needed cash she gave $4000.00 to one of my employees and all I had to do was go in there the next day and back date and sign a deposit slip. Since we have moved we do not go in as often. They asked us to bring are deposits to them but I explain its just to far. And would try sending them as many deposits as we could. I figured our relationship should not change because we moved from the area. I mean lets face it its still the same bank. Unfortunately due to our lack of activity with them (deposits) we are no longer the customers we used to be. We still bank with US Bank everyday but not that one. Today my wife tried to deposit a check for $6000.00 and she walked into a branch that we dont really deal with. They wanted to put ahold on the check. My wife said call Pam with the Castaic branch and she can tell you we have put much larger checks with no problems and we have never had a problem with a check not clearing. The call was made and to our surprise Pam told the teller at the branch bank that she would not clear that check if it was her because we cant be trusted. And according to the teller she went as far as naming other branches that will not honor that check. So the teller wanted to put a week hold on it. My wife did not visit any other branches for Pam to say that other branches would not accept it. I found this to be unacceptable and plain vindictive. Maybe The Castaic branch is short on customer deposits and this is what they do when you are consider to be useless to them. I have a great idea of helping them out by giving them some free publicity by paying for an ad in the L.A. Times explaining this situation. Also I will be sending a copy of this to cooperate. Maybe something will change or at least these banks will treat customers like they should be treated. Lanty Kennedy
