Reviews: The minute I walked in I could smell the steaks cooking and was greeted with a friendly "Hello, Welcome to Sizzler" from the manager (turned out to be the Owner, I later found out). After ordering just the Soup & Salad Bar, I started to fill a plate from the salad area and could NOT believe the incredible assortment of "toppings" that were not available at other Sizzler's. Hard boiled eggs, SLICED and stacked, not MASHED and squashed..... Red Kidney beans, by themselves, not mixed with garbonzos and whatever....ROUND RED CHERRY TOMATOS, instead of those little sour "Football" looking tomatos. I found Broccoli & Cheese Soup, Macaroni & Cheese by the fried chicken and FRESH Lettuce that wasn't too wet or dried out. I know this might sound like what most people would expect to find at a salad bar, however, this Sizzler in Burbank had the BEST and FRESHEST selection than either of the 2 Sizzler's in Hollywood (1 on Highland & 1 on Sunset) that I USED to go to. Mr. Sizzler: It is easy to spot a quality "Franchise" from a "Store Operated" Sizzler, and I plan on spending my $$$$$$ dining at a restaurant that carries salad bar and extras that customers want and miss. Your Slogan "NOBODY SALADS LIKE SIZZLER" or whatever (kinda gets lost when the assortment is limited) should be reserved for your Franshisees and not to be confused by Company owed stores who care only about profit ( 1st step to Bankruptcy!) and leave selection and quality decisions to Corporate Minds that probably don't (and WON'T) eat their own product. THANKS FOR YOUR FRANCHISES ( ESPECIALLY THE BURBANK LOCATION) FOR SAVING YOUR REPUTATIONS AND EXPENSE ACCOUNTS !!! (P.S.) I also found meat and chicken portions to be LARGER at Franchise operations..... what does this mean ????????????
