Reviews: Nice people. Awful bank. The fees are positively usurious. They wont even cash their own checks without charging an outrageous fee so a lot of locals especially small businesses and contractors wont accept their checks.

Reviews: Banking is a business its a privlidge not a right. You do not walk into a store and say I will take this and that and take it for free. Yes banks have fees and they are allowed to have them. This $5 check cashing fee is imposed on non-customers possibly to elimante fees for people who chose to be customers. Everyone however does have the option to go to their own bank to cash their check that is unless their bank will not cash it for them because they do not have the funds available in their accounts to cover the check. IMPORTANT: Many people do not have bank accounts because they have misused the privlidge and caused their bank to lose money. They are reported into the NCPS reporting system and banks generally will not open accounts for people who are in NCPS. Im sure there is even a more indepth explaination for the fee but do you really need it? The bank has every right to charge the fee and as a Key Bank customer I enjoy my free account with many privledges. If I write you a check you can deposit it or cash it at your own bank. If thats a problem then I guess you will need to pay a $5 fee to cash it at Key Bank. After all banking is a business.
