If you want to have your banking taken very serious yet very personal I recommend this bank. They even call you will by you name with a smile. Reviews: I had to go to three banks one day. First Republic had wonderful service friendly courteous and helpful. Bank of America was also very helpful and I opened an account with them. I then went to make a deposit at Chase (formerly wamu) and had a horrible experience. The teller was rude and inattentive. I go up to the window and the teller is fiddling with some papers. I wait patiently and the teller finally looks up. That is it just looks up. After another unpleasant wait the teller finally says yeah. I ask if she is ready. The teller snaps back Im ready are you? I slide my deposit slip and check forward and as I am saying I have a deposit. She interrupts talking over me and asks What is this? The teller was obtuse and self-righteous. The arrogance of the people you are handing your money to.
