Reviews: I have been with WF for 20 years. I was upsold by a teller TWICE right at the window. Due to an emergency I had to leave town for a couple of weeks and when I returned I discovered that I had been hit with over $800 in fees because an automatic transfer from checking to savings failed. This fee caused overdrafts to pile up. When I went in the bank to request some help because of my extraordinary circumstances and because the teller didnt tell me about the fees the banker pretty much called me a liar because he said that tellers were not allowed to upsell-I would have had to speak to a banker. When I told him I had been upsold TWICE by a teller he wanted to know who the teller was (like they have the same people in there every time you go in) because they arent supposed to do that. Luckily WF covered my checks for which I am thankful but calling me a liar and not helping with that much in fees was the worst service Ive ever received by a bank--and I worked at a bank for 15 years so I KNOW they could have helped me.
