Reviews: Dont expect a hello from this branch when you walk in. This branch is much like most Wells Fargo Branches. They treat you much like a typical McDonalds restaurant does. They are more concerned with paperwork and themselves than you when you walk through their doors. I have walked into their branch with no one in line and 4 of them at their windows. I walk all the way from the front door to the spot in the front of the line and may stand their for up to 30 seconds before any one of them may take time out of their task to acknowledge me and then invite me to their window. I would like to see immediate eye contact when walking through the door especially when there are no customers in line or when a teller is not with someone. It is very uncomfortable walking up to a set of windows and no one even acknowledging you. Given that I have come to their institution to do business with them and thinking that they are eager and grateful that I have decided to do so I would think that they would want to take advantage of the opportunity to make a customer feel welcome. The difference is the feeling one feels when walking into a McDonalds and walking into a Culvers. When you walk into a Culvers restaurant there are usually 3 or 4 cashiers waiting at attention (if they are not with a customer) and they immediately make eye contact with you that invites communication. Whereas when you go into a McDonalds they often have their backs turned to you having casual conversations that are not business related and when they decide to turn around they ask may I help you without any eye contact. The difference to me is huge. Culvers cost more but the value that is given is worth more than the difference in cost. This culture is through and through all operations and actions by Culvers Restaurants and would be a welcome site at all banks including this branch of Wells Fargo in Shorewood WI.
