Reviews: My wife and I have had nothing but trouble with Wells Fargo in downtown Pueblo Colorado. We applied for a home equity loan in June of 2010. First they sent an appraiser out to our property in Westcliffe with no appointment (over July 4th with a house full of company here). We told the man that it was bad timing. So he left without doing the appraisal. Then they sent a man out from Pueblo who never finished the appraisal and left us hanging. Then we were told that we would receive a gift card as this was a promotion. We never got the gift card but they settled for $60.00 which was credited to our account. The gift card was supposed to be $250.00. We finally signed the paperwork in August. When we signed the paperwork we were told that since we had been with Wells Fargo for over 20 years we were considered a good customer. We were also told that if we had an automatic payment we got another 1/4 of a percent off the percentage rate. We were told 4.125% is what it ended up at. Well guess what. After being assured as we were signing the paperwork that this was the interest rate - the paperwork stated 5.11%. I have talked to a person on the phone who insisted that she was not our representative and that she was being yelled at?? No yelling entered into this on the phone. Obviously these people cannot take criticism. This person informed me that Wells Fargo is the largest bank in the U.S. Well guess what we are getting?? Nothing but trouble. Our representative Kacey was transferred to the mortgage department. I have asked to talk to someone in authority but this new representative would not give me the name?? Then we were informed that it would cost us another $500.00 in a penalty if we close this loan. DO NOT HAVE AN DEALINGS WITH WELLS FARGO. I also have been charged for my new checks. Anybody who I have talked to who has ordered checks has not paid for them. So whats my problem with them. Over 20 years of banking with Wells Fargo and this is what I have gotten. TROUBLE.
