Reviews: DISCRIMINATION!! DEVASTATED!! I as many people have installment loans with ESL. I have worked 2 jobs for over 20 years. My boss at my 2nd job sold his business in June of this year. I have ALWAYS paid my bills on time. Like everyone else I am now starting to fall behind on my bills. So I called ESL to ask to pay the interest only on my 3 installment loans and put the payments in the back of my installment loan books. I spoke to Becky last week in the Collection Department and she told me that I qualified. My loans were more than 2 years old and my payments were ALWAYS paid on time! She said she would call me back in 2 days. Well today was day #3 so I called her. She informed me that she spoke with her Supervisor and was told that because I still had a FULLTIME JOB I DID NOT QUALIFY!! I TOLD HER THAT THIS WAS DISCRIMINATORY AND NOT FAIR!! I WAS NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO PAY MY INSTALLMENT LOANS ON TIME THIS MONTH FOR THE FIRST TIME AND JUST BECAUSE I HAVE A FULL TIME JOB SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ME GETTING SOME HELP WITH THE BANK!! APPARENTLY YOU HAVE TO HAVE NO JOB AT ALL TO QUALIFY TO PAY THE INTEREST ONLY!! IF YOU HAVE NO JOB THEN YOU CANT AFFORD TO PAY ANYTHING FOR GODS SAKE!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?? SO BECAUSE I HAVE A DAMN JOB I CAN JUST BE DELINQUENT AND THEY CAN RE-PO MY CAR IN 3 MONTHS AND THAT IS JUST FINE WITH THEM?? AND BECAUSE I ALWAYS PAY MY BILLS ON TIME AND HAVE A FULL TIME JOB AND NOW CANT PAY MY BILLS ON TIME THAT IS JUST FINE WITH THEM TOO!! DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE TO ANYONE?? I AM POSITIVE THAT THE COLLECTION DEPARTMENT WILL BE CONTACTING ME IN THE NEXT 30 DAYS SCREAMING AT ME WANTING THEIR DAMN MONEY!! HOWEVER INSTEAD OF ME TRYING TO TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEM AHEAD OF TIME LIKE A RESPONSIBLE ADULT SHOULD??? SO NOW I CAN BE DELINQUENT ON MY 3 LOANS AND HAVE MY OTHER CREDITORS SEE THIS LET THEM RAISE MY INTEREST RATES HIGHER BECAUSE NOW I AM DELINQUENT ON OTHER LOANS THANK YOU ESL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION!!! I USED TO LOVE YOU AND YOUR PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR YOU AND BRAG BRAG BRAG ABOUT YOU ALL OF THE TIME!! WELL NOT ANY MORE I ASSURE YOU!! I HOPE YOU APPRECIATE THIS REVIEW THAT I AM POSTING ALL OVER THE INTERNET JUST BECAUSE I CAN AND JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ME FOR BEING A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND JUST BECAUSE I WORK FOR A LIVING!! YES I HAVE A JOB AND AM DAMN PROUD OF IT AND I WORK HARD TO PAY MY BILLS AND YES I AM HAVING TROUBLE PAYING ALL OF THEM ON TIME NOW THAT I LOST MY 2ND JOB!! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!!
