Reviews: DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM ??? I have been a member for about five months. The manager is adversarial??? I am being polite. The accounting is a mess. I have had to call more than once to sort out the payments. The Gym is old the Bathrooms are less than spotless. I have been thinking of calling the health department. Form the correct angle you can view inside the men???s locker room from outside the bathrooms. At least three pieces of cardio equipment are broken at all times. I have been keeping track of one elliptical machine that has been broken sense I joined. While I was on the treadmill I over herd a conversation between three young men about how they beat the S@*t out of a guy the night before. The parking lot is dark with no security. This place isn???t in the best part of town. On top of all of this they are still using Iron clad contracts. What is it 2001?. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM.

Reviews: Overall Impression: UNPROFESSIONAL and IMPERSONAL. I had asked for an appointment to be advised by an attorney on bankruptcy or other debt consolidation options but I found myself feeling more like I was in an IRS office full of impersonal accountants rather than attorneys. There was no one there to greet me when I walked in. After 15-20 minutes of standing there with employees passing by without even acknowledging me the receptionist finally walked in late wearing jeans and a t-shirt. She was very nice and apologized for being late. I was given a credit check authorization form to sign without any explanation (I definitely regret letting them run my credit). When the attorney Samuel A. Maverick finally walked out I received no eye contact (he was just looking down at my file) and when I reached out my hand to shake his I received a soft half-handshake that struck me as very unprofessional and rude. In his office he hardly ever looked up at me and never asked me why I was there; he simply proceeded to go through my credit report and then told me how many thousands of dollars I would have to pay them to file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. I tried to explain that I did not want to file bankruptcy and that I was hoping to be COUNSELED on what the best option for my situation was and then I was given the answer Well you can look online to figure out what you want to do. I had already done extensive online research the reason I wanted to hire an attorney was to be ADVISED of what would be the best course of action for my financial situation not just to throw numbers at me and make me feel ashamed of my debt. Mr. Maverick told me that they did not offer any debt consolidation or credit repair help (even though they advertise themselves as debt doctors) and he never once even suggested the possibility of filing Chapter 13. Luckily I was referred to a professional bankruptcy attorney shortly after ??? JIM LAUDERDALE and DEVIN PACE at LAUDERDALE LAW OFFICES in Monterey restored my faith in bankruptcy attorneys. They were very professional and personal from the minute I walked in the door. They advised me to file Chapter 13 bankruptcy and said they could not believe another attorney had recommended chapter 7 for my situation. Perhaps my experience would have been different if I would have been assigned to Rodney Kleman himself. Mr. Kleman if you are reading this I dont care if your attorneys do not like wearing jackets when they meet with clients and it???s fine if you want to let your receptionist wear jeans but please dont forget that you are dealing with possibly the most important and most difficult decision in your clients life and we are not just another number. Mr. Maverick told me to go look online for my answers so here I am.
