Reviews: Overcharged and 5 days of being broke: This is a matter of fact situation. Do not do business with this second hand store. I purchased a student line flute and a couple of video games from this business for $74 on a Saturday I paid with my debit/credit card. Everything went fine in the shop and I went on my way. On Monday I had an Insufficient Funds issue and immediately checked my account - Absolute Junque charged me $740. I immediately called the business and they were already aware that there was an issue... I then had to drive 30 minutes there in a snowstorm to have them credit my card back and 30 minutes back to my residence in Marion Iowa. They were kind and apologetic about the situation with an attitude of **** happens at least. It then took from Monday night to Thursday afternoon in order for the money to show up on my card... during that time checks bounced I was unable to purchase anything I was embarrassed discussing the issue with my bank I was embarrassed when my card was declined I had to remove money from savings in order to stop the bleeding and my financial reputation took a huge hit... in addition Im still working with the bank to correct the hits to my credit score as well as the overdraft penalties that this blatant error caused. Thanks to this error my finances are STILL mucked up. Lesson learned - always check the credit slips before signing. Yet the reason Im writing this is that I have not been compensated for all of my stress time and money lost during this ordeal... they have not once reached out to me as a business and offered me anything other than to rectify the original situation - so what is there holding me back from writing this negative review? Absolutely nothing. I would honestly expect greater attention to detail from a smaller business and will be taking my Saturday afternoon second hand shopping to different stores where I receive great customer service like Siegels located on 1st AVE or Stuff Etc which has great shops all around The Corridor.

Reviews: I took in this apartment without checking the reviews. By far its the most terrible Apartment maintenance I experienced. The staff is very arrogant. They didnt even give me a painted/clean apartment when I occupied but told me I can get any fixes done. I was in hurry and occupied the apartment. When I left the apartment I gave 2 months notice as agreed. These people run such a clumsy business that they retained my advance and sent a notice saying I owe them 574$ (rent+paint+cleaning). I moved to different state then and called them whats all this. They simply said I never gave notice. Infact I asked for a copy of proof that I gave notice which they havent given earlier. Now finally they reported it to credit beuro making my score drop a lot. I again contacted and told them atleast correct the report sent to beauros and Ill pay the amount. They asked me to pay initial amount. I payed 75$ and they just closed the account as defaulted. Its a nightmare to me now on how to get my score up :-(
