Reviews: Our deal with another local broker was about to fall through due to a low ball appraisal as we switched lenders to try to get a lower rate. When we were at the end of our rope and ready to walk away from that deal I called Doug Lenski at Wholesale Mortgage Svc. of WI and he spent a day reviewing our situation and speaking with his mgt. about whether they could use our first higher appraisal and go back to our original lender. When that wasnt going to work (due to new appraisal regulations etc.) he came up with a great scenario that he said we should share with our current broker that would make the deal come together using our lower appraisal. Keep in mind Doug was not working for us here nor was he going to make any money off of a deal with another broker/lender. He was just trying to help me and my husband get out of a bad situation and finish our current deal. I went back to our current broker explained what Doug told us and she put everything back together the way it should have been instead of wasting time challenging the appraisal (which wasnt going to work). Thanks to Doug we are closing today at 5:15 p.m. at a 15 year fixed rate of 3.875% (the same rate we would have got with Doug) but he knew that we would have had to start over (60 days or so more in waiting) and would have had to pay for yet another appraisal. This man has true integrity when hes looking after another brokers client. Trust me use him and you will have a great refinancing (or purchasing) experience. THANKS DOUG!!!

Reviews: NEVER EVER GO TO CHASE FOR A HOME LOAN. I recently had a terrible experience with Chase trying to get a loan for an existing condo. I had 25% down a great credit score and it should have been a slam dunk..... but they missed their promised closing date by a week causing me to incur hotel bills and additional costs. The loan officer (Jason S) did not follow through - the appraiser (Steven K from Brookfield) lied about not being able to get into the condo to do the assessment causing the seller and the sellers realtor to become extremely upset. Overall poor poor job - felt like this was the first condo loan they ever wrote. Rate was great but it was not worth the headache - go to Johnson Bank! AND NOW..... I was charged a $20 service fee for the checking account in error and they have not refunded 1/2 of my initial deposit the promised nor the $7 bank charge from US Bank for their incompetence in getting me the final loan amount. YUGH!!!! No wonder they needed a government bailout.
