Reviews: My wife and I had negative experiences with this dental office. Our overall impression is that the staff (dentists and front counter) push you into treatment that is not necessary. We felt the front counter staff make treatment recommendations that only a dentist should make. After just a 20 minute cleaning and polishing the dentist who examined my teeth said I needed three crowns and that one of the three teeth was cracked. Previously Ive never had a cleaning/polishing from other offices that lasted less than an hour. Before leaving the office I was directed to the counter staff who pushed me very hard into having the work done pulling at my emotions and warning me of consequences if I didnt. Needless to say I was very skeptical after my experience and decided to get a second opinion from another dentist (not under my HMO plan) who told me the work wasnt necessary. After my initial appointment with 7 Day Dental the office called me three times to schedule a follow-up appointment to have the major work done even after I told them three times that I was holding off on making a decision and would call them back if necessary. My wife had a similar experience with an inadequate cleaning conducted by the dentist and recommendations for treatment that wasnt necessary. They probably save money by not having a hygienist to do the cleanings and lure you into thinking that since the dentist does the cleaning hell do a better job in 20 minutes. This practice strives to maximize their profits in a very methodical manner and our impression is that they do so unethically.
