Reviews: Well if you folks are seeking to buy a used car please beware of this dealership. You want a true story on this specific location I will tell you one. Last year I bought a Toyota from this location. The car looked in good condition. I test drove it looked at the interior..it seemed like a smooth ride. The sales person at the time was a guy by the name ofizzy. After negotiating with the manager it seemed that I was getting a fair deal. I specifically told the manager that if I noticed any oil leaks I would bring it back for service at no cost to me...this verbal talk was before I signed any documents. He shook my hand and said deal. However the next day that I went to pick it up the car I noticed a cloud of smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe. I was a bit frightened. I called them the very next day and the manager ( Greg T) told me that it was maybe because it has not been used in a while sometimes that may happen to a car. Nevertheless this was just the beginning of one of my worst car purchases ever. I took the car in and another guy that is found in a office on the left side of the complex told me 2 days later that oil was leaking from the cylinder head thats what was causing the cloud of smoke. Note: I had to call them I was frustrated with them not calling me promptly about the car issue. The day I went back to the dealership hoping that they would take care of me as a consumer the individual( person in the left hand side of the complex) held the keys in his hand and literally close to my face and said the car was not like that...pretty much saying deal with it on your own! Integrity honesty and respectfulness is something you will not find here. I told this person that I had talked to Greg T before signing any papers that If I noticed any leaks Greg made a deal with me to do the repairs at no cost. That instant Greg takes me into his office and says to me that the repair will cost about $600 dollars. According to him this car problem was not part of our deal. I asked him nicely if I could choose another car too late I have sent all the paper work to the DMV... that was Greg Ts response to me. I was so disapointed to hear this. I had made a $2000 down payment and now I had to come up with another $600 for repairs??? I dont see how they can manage to continually improve customers satisfaction buy a bunch of sales persons. It turns out they made me a deal to only pay half on the amount on the repairs...that was my only choice I had realistically. Too add more to this just last week I noticed a puddle of antifreeze on the floor on my drive way. The fluid is not coming from the radiator but rather from under the engine. I am looking at about 800 dollars in total repair costs according to several mechanics. I hope this is helpful information for you folks out there looking to purchase a used car in San Jose. Times are tough and we want to get the best out of our money. I hope this does not happen to anyone else because I am stuck paying my car loan for the next 2 years not knowing what will break on me next.
