Reviews: I was contacted by Wells to refinance my home about a week ago. The numbers sounded good so I went ahead and set up an appointment. When I couldnt get all the paperwork together on time I called to reschedule and was treated like an idiot. ( Why cant you get it together and Dont you want this lower rate) I was then put on the phone with Charlie the branch manager who asked me why I bothered to set up the appointment. I said perhaps I should just cancel and he informed me that they had 100 appointments that day was I SURE I couldnt get the paperwork together? After a firm no he hung up on me. I have done business with this company in the past and for the most part have been pleased. Since however they have joined up with Wachovia their rates have increased and their customer service has decreased. I am old fashioned when it comes to customer service and will even pay a bit more for it. this company has apparently gotten to big to need my business.

Reviews: They charge ridiculous overdraft fees. We had our funds in there that day and they charged us the overdraft fees of 150 even though we were NOT in the red and we had an over positive balance not including the money we just put in. Dont be fooled by the cute little babies on their website and their family image. They will rob you blind. They also have this stupid limit where you have to be with them more then 30 days in order to have access to all your money right away. They only let you take 100 out and you must wait 5 days to get the rest. This is bad if you have to pay rent or pay a large bill and you just moved to the area that dont accept credit cards and you must give them cash or check for. This limit isnt what we have encountered though we have had the account for over 8 months and This has never happened with any other bank we have been with. I suggest you take your banking to other places and not US bank.

Reviews: Bought a York furnace 2 years ago. Called on a Friday at 11 pm January 2009 and they didnt have anyone available until morning. Did try to help on the phone but nothing worked. Temperature is 10 below 0. In morning told to shut off for hour then turn back on. Cost $145 for service of 15 minutes. I was told they need to order part which was covered under warranty but would need to pay another $135 for labor. When I told them I was unemployed and still paying for furnace (had to take out home equity loan) was told so are alot of people. The service man was nice but I was not impressed with this company. Expected a little more from a local company and thought labor cost excessive. Also this furnace is 90% efficient but did not get it insulated and it is very loud. It is louder than my old 25 year old furnace. Did not get the cheapest furnace but can not believe how load it is. My mother used Blind and Son company 3 years ago and has had no problems.
