Reviews: I totally agree with the review written by Rebecca G. THIS BANK IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST when it comes to customer service as well as their banking policies. There have been several occasions when we have asked for explanations of charges... the responses are most generally rude (bordering on hostile) and very inconsistent. Please save yourself the hassle and headaches DO NOT put your hard earned money into this institutions care.

Reviews: truly awful. after many years of dealing with compass bank satisfactorily the bbva was added and now it is a horror. they stacked checked assessed excessive penalties basically just stole the money and when i called a customer service rep who literally sounded like a child told me that i was lying that she was the boss and refused to pass me to someone more informed and qualified. seriously not making it up. no one has responded to me they have not rectified the situation. nothing. moving my money asap.

Reviews: Not a good bank. Their ads are misleading and straight out wrong. I had a loan to build a new facility and through trickery they pulled the loan. I thought they were friends and partners so did not run every thing pass my lawyer. Be careful they do not care about you and your business. I am still am dealing with liens from construction companies. They also promised a pay back on some closing cost and never did. I had to walk away losing $80000 and liens against me and my corporations. It has been a mess. I think I have been cheated. So much for supporting Texans only. I guess they have been barred from others states.

Reviews: Dont go to the drive-through here. You wait an eternity to get taken care of while the employees stand around and talk. This isnt a one-time experience; I bank here weekly and Ive started going to the West 6th St location because they are quick to process your transactions.

Reviews: When I first started using Compass bank they offered excellent CD rates that compounded quarterly. After adding the BBVA to their name this bank has gone downhill. The last two CDs I renewed were set up to pay out only at maturity though I was promised they would pay out quarterly. Today I received a letter saying they are closing this Barton Creek Square location and after May 28 2010 Ill have to go downtown to do any business. I was already unhappy with their lies about the CDs. Now Im supposed to go downtown and deal with traffic congestion and lack of parking? I dont think so.
