Reviews: This is one of those spots in Costa Mesa that you would never expect to exist. Its in the parking lot of an oil lube place and behind all the stores. However when its open its on and cracking. I actually had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated on a Saturday evening. There were many couples in here so it seems like a decent date option. The decor on the inside is very stylish and has an Asian fusion sort of theme going. You kind of dont remember that you are at a small mom and pop style Asian restaurant once you walk in because everything seems clean and renovated. You wont find that dirty red carpet that you normally would see in viet-chinese restaurants. Prices here are very reasonable. You can get 2 plates and an appetizer for under $20. This is not bad on Bristol and a spot that is down the street from South Coast Plaza. You will still get some leftover change to keep the date going. I must say the best food is really in the appetizers. Their meat egg rolls are one of the best I have ever had. However the rest of the items in their menu are average at best. This happens when you have a cross between Japanese and Chinese food and you just never specialize in one style of cooking. You end up with two styles but none that can really jump out and make you say.. Hey that tasted pretty darn good. The prices and the egg rolls definitely gives this place a solid 3 stars.
