Reviews: Brian is the kind of person who is almost impossible to meet this day in age. My family and I had been in a short-sale for months and our realitor just couldnt close the deal. One week before our auction date we found Brian and explained to him our situation. We could tell right away he really felt for our family. The home we wanted to rent wast even on the MLS so he wouldnt make any commision he did everything to help our family and went above and beyond anything you would expect! He got us into our new rental that same week and made a very difficult time for our family an easy transition and pleasent experience. He is a wonderful person who truelly cares about you not just about making another dollar. He and his family have been such a blessing to us. I will recommend him to everyone I know who needs a realitor he is truelly the best!

Reviews: These mortgage companies are a dime-a-dozen. I had a poor experience with Stone Canyon Mortgage in fall 2007 and would not recommend them to a friend. The staff did not request proper documentation for our loan in timely manner (upsetting the seller and causing us to miss our initial closing date putting the loan in jeopardy). While waiting for a loan program I did my own research and found loan programs that easily beat the loans that were being recommended to me. (only then did Darryn & co. find a better rate) I felt pressured to take a loan I considered poor -- that never sat well with me (even after we got into a better loan program). When closing time came I realized how much these guys clean up --- THOUSANDS of dollars in loan origination fees as well as a hefty commission from the lender for my loan.... I know theyre in the business of making money but with the mortgage industry struggling I believe I couldve found a less expensive broker. Take my advice with a grain of salt as we ultimately did get the house we wanted. But the process was painful and more importantly it was expensive --- and its not like a restaurant where you can pay your server based on how good the service is. Here the service was bad and we had no recourse except to inform those of you on the Internet to do your research and consider other companies. We went to Stony Canyon based on a good referral from friends but I would never ever use them again.
