Reviews: Arvest manipulates accounts to purposely make money on overdraft fees. I deposited a check at 2:30 PM on the 28th and was told that it would definitely post during the night because it was well before 6:00 PM when they cease putting through checks for the computer to auto-clear. I used my check card during the afternoon of the next day the 29th. I incurred OVERDRAFT FEES on these debits because they held my check until some debits went through so that they could charge me $17.93 for each one. When I called to complain they attempted to tell me that I deposited the check at 7:00 PM and so it would not post until the evening of the 29th. Since I was out of town then and had in fact made the deposit on my way I know that this is absolutely untrue. They are extremely-underhanded when they think that you have money to spare. They saw that I deposited a $1000.00 and thought that I wouldnt mind their tactics.
