Reviews: WAMU is the schinizzell. I hate the other banks. Every time you turn around it's another fee at most banks, but never at Washington Mutual. It's like Cheers, "where everybody knows your name." I've actually had the employees there greet me and say "Hi Jeff, how are you doing today?" on more than one occasion. And I'm really glad they have ATMs in front the street. I just do a drive by (lol) when I need get some yuppie food stamps (20's). See the branch manager, he'll treat you right.

Reviews: My review is based on the experience of my daughter. I share her tears and heartaches from the experience with Sierra Pacific Mortgage, Vallejo, CA. * Did the experience meet or exceed your expectations? Not by a long shot. This company failed so bad. They promised every day for over a month that the home loan would be completed. Every report was that all was well and no problems were perceived. Qualification for the loan was never a concern, in fact prequalification was completed well in advance. This experience has taken its toll on even the realtors (for the seller as well as the buyer). Now Sierra Pacific Mortgage says maybe you should try elsewhere. Oh sure, the interest rate has gone from 5.875% to 6.75% in the mean time. Bev the employee with "26 years in the business" does not return phone calls as she promises to do and has never said that there is a problem. Just that it should be today! I'll call you. Now the listing realtor says she has put the house back on the MLS. Are you planning to go back soon? Only when the temperature reaches 32 degrees in hell. Do you feel like you got what you paid for? Nothing but heartache is what was gotten. Seriously question if the $3K paid in advance will be returned. Litigation may be required. * What did you like or dislike? The constant lies were appalling. If you had to wait in line, was it worth it? No. * Would you recommend this to your friends? Not a chance. Your parents? No way. Your boss? No.
