My daughter was employed here and was told at hiring that if an employee was not doing things right 1st step is ???retraining form??? if not improved 2nd step is ???opportunity to improve??? if not improved 3rd step is ???probation??? if no improvement after those steps the 4th step is ???fired.??? With my daughter they went right to the last step and fired her. The told her it was because of her job performance but not what she did that was wrong; she did get the first 3 steps at all. Her home store (Plainfield) met their monthly goals while she was employed. When hired she was told she would have to go to another store one day a week. Well due to their high employee turn over and the 2 robberies at the Jenison store she was sent to other stores for a full week at a time. This company does not care about their employees otherwise they would never allow just one employee to ever be at the store alone. My daughter is a bright beautiful and friendly. One customer called her ???home store??? for her to ask her to the Michigan football game. Her co- worker had figured it out and had politely told him that my daughter was a happily married woman. Another customer who dealt with my daughter had left the building after getting his first loan; he came back in the store and thanked her for making it a pleasant experience. She worked there for abut 6 months and was never given the first 3 steps she was fired and still does not know what she did that was so wrong. If she had actually done something wrong it would have been nice to tell her so she could have improved and been even more of an asset to her next employer. This company also will not hire men if they have families or children so if you are a male you apply for a job here do not mention you family or children: I wish I knew who to contact to about that.
