Reviews: 7-15-08 Went in to get another loan today. They have all my information already-ck stubbank statement etc but I had it all again in case. I confirmed that I needed a $200 loan with a pay back date of pay day 8-1-08. I verified the day I would pay it back as 8-1-08 with the Latino female rep wrote the ck and handed her the documents. Moments later she asks you can pay it back 7-29-08. I explained to her that I had just told her pay back 8-1-08 and wondered why she told me it was all ok for 8-1-08 pay day and taken all my documants only tell me the pay back date was going to be 7-29-08. Her respone: I have to protect the loan which of course was an expected answer. HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY QUESTION: WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME THE PAYBACK DATE OF 8-1-08 WAS NOT GOOD BEFORE I HANDED YOU THE DOCUMENTS AND WROTE A CHECK. Oh thats right. Because there was not a lot upstairs. I could see it in your eyes. Last time I went in I called ahead to make sure I had what I needed. When I got there the new guy(wore rep in training tag) working alone told me he needed another document-- that he did not ask for on the phone. The time before that the new guy was working by himself and half hour to closing he tells the 4 customers in line that the computers just crashed and everyone has to come back tomorrow. I stayed and listened to his conversation with a company computer tech who told him it was fixed and ready for use. I had waited to get to the front of the line for that? If he wanted to go home on time he should have quit. The sign read open till 8pm not 730 pm. Many many problems at this one. Must be internal. Dont say you werent warned. Reviews: I was contacted today after a long day of trouble shooting and problem solving at work. Victoria the said manager called me today as I am noted as a reference from one of their customers. What started off as a routine reference call ended up a customer service nightmare! Victoria obviously doesnt beleive how fast the word of mouth travels.. Victoria phoned me I confirmed that it was me on the other end I asked her to hold so that I may end my other call. Victoria hung up immediately only to call back seconds later and sarcastically demanded that I send her to my voice mail since I hung up on her previously. She gave me no chance to explain but proceeded to justify why she should be sent to voice mail although she is speaking with me live.She hung up. When I called back to address the issue she laughed & hesitantly provide the phone number to corp. In these tough economic times we need to treat everyone as a future customer. Thank you Victoria as I will continue to spread the word through every blog media outlet and review site on how allied cash advance treats people.Allied obviously needs to work on developing a code of ethics and a mission statement that its employers especially managers need to beleive and/or adhere to. Perhaps a union would be ideal Victorias attitude seems to be stemming from possible extreme/harsh working conditions. She cannot possibly be happy in her current line of work. When I asked to be escalated Victoria smirked as if I were the joke of the day...Wrong move. If I cant be respected in a routine reference call why should I trust this company to respect my privacy personal and financial information. PLEASE DO NOT PATRONIZE THEIR BUSINESS.
