However the following is an accurate report of conditions to date and we anticipate the necessity of filing complaints with Attorneys General in Kansas Nevada and California as well as with any and all federal and state agencies regulating debt management businesses. In late March 2010 my partner and I signed contracts with Meridian Credit Solutions to arrange payment of some payday loans in Kansas. To date despite numerous phone calls emails and letters requesting an accounting of the nearly $4000. we have sent to Meridian we have received no written responses no written account of which creditors are being paid how much has been paid to creditors what future payments are scheduled whether our money is in a dedicated account or simply deposited in a Meridian account or any other detailed information. Meridian has provided phone calls and smooth verbal responses to our inquiries as well as copies of blank forms alleged to indicate that something has been established as a payment plan with creditors but we have no copies of agreements with any creditor. We were told not to communicate with the creditors and to let Meridian handle negotiations and payments. Contrary to their own operations guides we were not informed prior to our enrollment that we would each be paying Meridian more than $150. per month for their services. Promises that we would not be harassed by creditors because Meridian would be handling everything for you were outright deceptions. Two and a half months after paying initial fees and making additional payments to Meridian of roughly $3500. we continue to receive calls and letters from creditors. Today June 11 2010 we received the third of three contacts from creditors claiming to never have received any communications of any kind from Meridian Credit Solutions. We have provided Meridian with the names phone numbers and fax numbers for the corporate offices of these most recent contacts - information we believe a credit solution organization should be able to obtain without our assistance. At best this company has been inconsiderate and incompetent. At worst we may have stupidly permitted ourselves to be scammed to the tune of thousands of dollars.
