Reviews: Dominion East Ohio Gas; I had called them on June 25 2010 just before 8:00 a.m. because I needed my gas turned on and the pilot lights lit. The customer service rep informed me that someone will be at my residence between 8:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. that day. I informed them that nobody would be home until 5:00 p.m. They called ahead to say they were in the area problem was they called my residence phone. The phone that they knew nobody would answer. They left a note and left at 10:06 a.m. I called back to get someone there after 5:00 p.m. they told me that they dont back track on there service calls listing all the emergencies turn offs and turn ons. I would bet the people that deal with emergencies are not doing turn offs and turn ons. I find it hard to believe that nobody was in that area at that time or that I was the only person not home that day. They could have made the extra effort but they wouldnt. They call their department customer service yet they dont service their customers. Dominion East Ohio Gas are lazy inconsiderate and unhelpful to anyone but themselves. In the future I will never rely on them for anything. When I buy my first home and something is gas I will pay whatever I have to to convert over to electric. They are not worth the trouble anymore. They are the only game in town and they know it. They call the shots and their customers pay through the nose for poor service. Like I told one of their supervisors if my customer service was this bad at my job I would have been fired.

Reviews: I was contacted by Wells to refinance my home about a week ago. The numbers sounded good so I went ahead and set up an appointment. When I couldnt get all the paperwork together on time I called to reschedule and was treated like an idiot. ( Why cant you get it together and Dont you want this lower rate) I was then put on the phone with Charlie the branch manager who asked me why I bothered to set up the appointment. I said perhaps I should just cancel and he informed me that they had 100 appointments that day was I SURE I couldnt get the paperwork together? After a firm no he hung up on me. I have done business with this company in the past and for the most part have been pleased. Since however they have joined up with Wachovia their rates have increased and their customer service has decreased. I am old fashioned when it comes to customer service and will even pay a bit more for it. this company has apparently gotten to big to need my business.
