Reviews: They have a Best of list which is supposed to be judged by the highest positive reviews most visited etc. Sounds good right? Unfortunately the integrity of this system is completely out the window. Companies who advertise with Citysearch I think somehow get the Editorial Winner award and get included in their Best of list too. In the meanwhile others who clearly have more reviews all positive are shunned because they dont pay Citysearch money. Cheater!

Reviews: I feel jipped by this company. I was told to agree to a loan they offered me at a whopping 11.5% and was told that as long as I make payments without fail within 6 months I will surely be able to get another loan at a much lower rate. I followed their advice and 8 months later called back. I was told that they can do nothing for me. Why not they already received a commission right?

Reviews: I went to 3 stores in San Francisco that buy jewelry with some items I inherited that I didnt want. Of the 3 stores Provident was the only one that really took a careful look at what I had and offered me a fair price for it. Its a pawn shop and I didnt really know what to expect. I was delighted to find the staff was friendly the owner explained to me in language I understood why some of my items were valuable and others were not. The other stores acted as if they were doing me a favor by allowing me to sell them my stuff. The folks at Provident were completely customer service focused and my experience was 100% positive. I would recomend Provident Loans to anyone and I would be happy to do business with them again. In fact I expect to be there this Christmas looking for a gift for my wife. 5 Stars for sure!
