Reviews: This has got to be the nastiest bank organization in the world. When an error was made by an entity outside the bank, they mistakenly froze all our assets in the Wash. Mutual acct. According to law, the bank should have notified us and if they had done so, we could have easily straightened out the error in a short time. Not only did they not notify us, they charged a huge fee for freezing the accts and for bouncing all our checks, causing us extreme hardship as we also had to pay penalties on all payments, which subsequently were caused to be late and we had to have relatives wire us money to even buy gas and groceries. It took over 6 months to get the accts unfrozen. The bank refused to waive any of their unethical fees. I would not do business with them if there were no other banks in the world. I'd sooner keep my money under a mattress than trust Washington Mutual!
