Reviews: Unprofessional, hidden charges, disrespectful to property owners, frequent inconsistencies, poor maintenance etc etc etc. We own four rental properties in Bakersfield. Realty Dimensions was our property management firm for three disastrous years. If you are considering selecting Realty Dimensions to manage your property, please know that they are not making money by the nominal monthly fee...they're making money with constant add on fees every month. They make money on move outs, move ins, up charges, so called repairs by unqualified workers aka "Budget Maintenance" and late fees. High turnover is encouraged. Significant deductions will be taken from money owed to you every month, over and above what was quoted. I've never encountered such unprofessional behavior from any business as we encountered from the staff and the owner of Realty Dimensions. If you select Realty Dimensions to manage your property, your property will be treated like a motel with short term renters constantly moving in and moving out. Your property will be trampled upon, used, and abused. Maintenance is poorly and unprofessionally performed by unqualified workers without regard to warranty or record keeping. They refuse accountability to property owners. And when your association with Realty Dimensions has concluded and your property is returned to you, it will be unrecognizable. If your property...prior to association with Realty Dimensions, had been well cared for with ongoing, quality maintenance to the appliances, heating and air conditioning, plumbing, window treatments and carpets, flooring, paint, windows and screens, landscaping and fences etc with quality and professional care, your property will be returned to you from Realty Dimensions in a state of neglectful disrepair from constant hard and careless use in spite of having paid considerable charges for maintenance and repairs. Repairs were performed hokey at best, damaging to the appliances and property at worst. Further, the owner of the company clearly resents accountability to "owners." If any questions are raised, she quickly becomes disrespectful and snippy, defensively shifting blame, and daring you to go elsewhere. Once you are contractually committed to Realty Dimensions managing your property, it is very difficult to extricate your property from them and the constant stream of unqualified, short term tenants they allow to live in your property. As the owner, it is not unreasonable to expect to know who and what is living in your property and how your investment is being managed and maintained. Bakersfield is a vast rental market and there are many property management firms in Bakersfield, please choose wisely.
