Reviews: When we decided to buy a home, we never thought that any mortagage company would help us out like 1st AR Mortgage Co. did. Ms. Donna Deen and her team worked with us constantly to get us into the type of home we wanted. Even though many companies won't work with military families because of the lower salary categories they fall into, Ms. Deen carefully reviewed our income and how we chose to budget it, carefully and discreetly reviewed our credit histories, and worked with us to ensure that we would be financially prepared to buy the type of house we wanted. There was a minimum of paperwork to fill out, little to no "miscellaneous fees" that many companies charge their customers, and no - I mean NO - hastle whatsoever. During the loan process, they made us feel so comfortable, they knew us by name, and they treated us like real people instead of like the source of their next commission paycheck. In addition, not only was Ms. Deen excellent to work with, but the entire staff there at 1st AR Mortgage was very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Reviews: have had an account at the bank since 2000. had a transmission go out on us & they would not help me get a signature loan for $2000. enough to get my vehicle repaired. my money goes in every month & i told them they could take out enough to pay the monthly installments & an insurance policy to pay off if i deceased. even told them part could go into escrow to be sure it would be there. i feel they are'nt really that caring in such situations.
