Reviews: I bought my car back in 2006 my loan was sold out to Cresent Bank and Trust. Over the last four years I have had to make payment arrangements for a late payment (major surgery ect). I have had to speak with several account adjusers. Every time I called to speak with my adjuster that person no longer works for the company. My car is due to be paid off in Mar of 2011. I recently had an out of towm emergency and left a message with my adjuster that my payment would be 7 days late she never called me back. This morning I received a call from a Ms Gregory who rudely informed me that my adjuster was no longe with them and I would have to deal with her (she would not give me her name I had to call back and get it from someone else I was told my account was now transeferred to Va). Ms Gregory was so rude to me I told her paypayment would be made via moneygram on the 7th she said that was not good enough if I did not give her a check by phone today she would have my car repossed by tonight then she proceed to hang up on me. I called back and asked for a supervisor and was given to a gentleman by the name Mario he was more pleaseant to deal with. He told me that my car could not be repossed until it was 30 days late and since it would be paid by 29 days that would not happen.. 29 days I asked how that was possible since my payment was only due on the 1st I was then informed that my payment date was changed by Cresent Bank when they bought my loan I was never notified of the due date change and have never received andy payment book or statement from this company I did not know of the change. Now I was informed I have wracked up 4 years worth of late charges I owe more to them in late charges then I do on my car. Is this a fair practice and is there anythig I can do about it. I asked them for help they told me the only thing they can do is refinace my car with them to stop the late payment(not going to happen I am not that stupid) My payoff today is the same thing it was a year ago how is that possible. I am at a loss I have neve been treated so rudely and unproffesionaly as this. Any suggestions out there.
