Reviews: This bank was the saviour for me when I was desperately looking for some bank to get my $500 worth Travelers Cheques encashed (as none of the shops/restaurants accepted to take them) and criteria being that I dont hold any account with them. They easily accepted 2 of my $500 TCs and gave me the cash (that too in the denominations that I preferred :) ) in just 10 minutes without any big procedure.

Reviews: Stay Away from this group anproffesianal/unethical group of lenders! I am Real Estate Agent and I have a client working with them on a loan for a home purchase. The 45 days for our purchase is over tomorrow. I been trying to get a hold of my clients loan rep. for 4 days now to know what is going on. I have left messages on the office number cell number and email since 4 days ago and not answer. I finally called the main office number that I had to search through the internet because the lenders rep. business card does not list the main number. Any ways I was told the lenders rep. that is dealing is this loan is with another client so I this point I know his is not sick or laid off. He is just ignoring my calls. So I asked to speak to his boss or the office manager and they tell me that they are all in meetings all day to try again tomorrow. Now I am stuck. I dont know if they need an extension to process the loan or if the loan has failed and I need to cancel the purchase contract. I will try again tomorrow to get a hold of the manager to see if they give me the same story tomorrow that the managers are in all day meetings to leave my number for call back. Do make the same mistake. Stay away from Wellsfargo Home Mortage branch at 308 W. El Camino Real Sunnyvale.

Reviews: Darin is incompetent-very dissappointing service by Countrywide employee. I went in to Countrywide said I wanted to open Sep IRA deposited a check signed where I was told to sign filled out papers as given to me did everything Darin told me to do only to find out via phone 9 days later that Countrywide does not do Sep IRA that my check should have arrived at my house few days ago. If I had been told that Countrywide does not do Sep IRA I would not have wasted 40 minutes talking and filling out papers with Darin. When I asked why it had taken so long 9 days for him to let me know he said he could not find my number... Darin said he will call me to let me know what happened to my money and he never called back. What kind of service is this????Now when I get my money back I have to get a lower interest rate on my account and lost out on possibly 10-11 days worth of interest money. Wish I had never met this joker.
